Senior Network Engineer

  • Resolution to multiple service tickets per day
  • Works with end users and client network administrators to research and resolve their IT issues
  • Involved in new project requirement definition and planning
  • Participate as part of a product implementation team
  • Assigned as primary engineer to multiple accounts, providing direction and leadership to others supporting these customer networks
  • Identify sales opportunities based on IT needs and client discussions
  • Determine root cause/preventative resolutions
  • Precisely document problems and resolutions steps

Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT position with end user contact
  • WAN network design and implementation
  • Firewall configuration and maintenance
  • Microsoft Server install/administration
  • Microsoft Exchange install/administration
  • Office 365 migration/administration
  • VMWare ESX
  • Server hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • IT project management
  • Network virus, spyware and spam management
  • Server backups and data archiving
  • Ability to support various levels of desktop operating systems and office suites
  • MCSE, CCNA preferred
