Network Engineer

Our Network Engineers work both in house and at local client’s sites and are key members in building and maintaining relationships with many different clients. Responsibilities

  • Resolution to multiple service tickets per day
  • Works with end users and client network administrators to research and resolve their IT issues
  • Involved in new project requirement definition and planning
  • Participate as part of a product implementation team
  • Assigned as primary engineer to multiple accounts, providing direction and leadership to others supporting these customer networks
  • Identify sales opportunities based on IT needs and client discussions
  • Determine root cause/preventative resolutions
  • Precisely document problems and resolutions steps

Work Experience Requirements

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customer end users
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and phone demeanor
  • Ability to work as part of a team is a must
  • Minimum 3 years (5 preferred) experience in IT with end user contact
  • Superior client service experience helping users by telephone and remote control technology
  • Ability to support various levels of desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac etc…) and Microsoft Office Suites (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016)
  • Ability to support Windows Server 2008-2016, Office 365, Exchange 2010 +
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to precisely describe problems and resolution steps and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Desire to constantly improve upon the status quo
  • Ability and willingness to work/cover various shifts
  • Must be able to pass a background check
